Saturday 7th May
SINGING WORKSHOP WITH VICKY HADLAND
Come along to an 'Enjoy Your Voice' singing workshop with Vicky Hadland
(Director of Devonly Voices/The Singers Upstairs/Linking voices community
choirs).
Singers and non-singers welcome! Informal, friendly and lots of fun
and you don't need to be able to read music. Singing songs in beautiful
harmony. Give it a try!
Saturday 7th May
THE TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC - Fun music session for the under 5's
with Carol Holbrow
Bring your favourite teddy bear for some musical fun and games. The
teddies will be getting ready, going on a bus, having their picnic,
then going home by boat – oh and not forgetting lots of singing,
dancing and banging the drums! This free event will be limited to 15
children, so please come early. All children must be accompanied by
an adult

MUSIC WORKSHOP WITH WREN MUSIC
Come and have fun, meet people and play music together. Wren Music will
lead 2 x 40mins workshops for 8 – 18yr olds, to include all levels
of experience and skill. There’s no need to read music, but Wren
Music will provide written music for those who want it and also some
instruments - or you are welcome to bring your own. Don’t be shy
– places limited to 25 per workshop – come early!

STRICTLY YOUR CUP OF TEA! - With The ArtDeco Trio
The chance for festival goers to waltz, quickstep, Charleston and even
Argentine tango the afternoon away! The Trio will play the popular music
repertoire of the 20s – 50s and band leader Steve Chisholm will
also offer some ‘quick pointers’ on the finer points of
dancing – or just sit back and relive the golden age of the crooners.
Add to this tea and cakes, a lovely venue and great music – how
can you resist? £5.00 ENTRANCE FEE – TO INCLUDE TEA &
CAKE

MUSIC WORKSHOP FOR FAMILIES WITH MIKE FREEMAN & TANIA OPLAND
Navigate round the world by a musical map. Songs, instruments and dances
from around the globe will introduce you to life, work and play in many
lands. Hoist the sails, join in the choruses, and be ready for some
fun (and easy) dancing, too. We'll make stops in North and South America,
East and Central Asia, Eastern and Western Europe... wherever the winds
take us. FREE ENTRY WITH A RETIRING COLLECTION
LINE DANCING CLASS WITH LINDA HOWARD
Yeeha! Get your neckerchiefs and cowboy boots out and try some line
dancing. No need to know the moves Linda will guide you through it all.
Please come along – this is a first for the Dart Music Festival.
There will be a prize for the best outfit. FREE ENTRY. There is plenty
of parking at the hall.
