Claudia Alvarez Calderón was born in Peru where she started her vocal studies. She then continued in Rome with Raina Infantino (Bulgaria) and later attended the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro directed by Alberto Zedda (Italy). In 2012 she was selected by Rockwell Blake (USA) to follow up on repertoire studies in New York.

Claudia sings in more than eight languages and has performed across Europe, UK, Peru and USA as a recitalist and opera soloist. In 2015 she started her ongoing collaboration with “Gli Amici di Fritz” with opera roles in Tuscany and Piedmont. Currently based in Dartmoor, she is very passionate about taking opera and art songs from around the world into smaller communities with her project “Diva on your Doorstep”.

Alex Wilson is a musician with a passion for the unusual, new and unexplored: a versatile pianist with interests ranging from cutting edge new music to fascinating repertoire by forgotten composers.  Alex is a former British Contemporary Piano Competition finalist, Park Lane Group Young Artist and performer of new music across Britain and Europe as soloist and chamber musician.  His self-curated tour of music by the lost composers of World War One ‘The Banks of Green Willow’ has achieved large audiences and received critical praise.
