Timothy Noon – Organ recital

Classical

Friday

Come and see us at:

St. Saviour’s Church

The programme states that James Anderson-Besant will be playing for us. James has had a change of plan and Timothy Noon, who James worked for at Exeter Cathedral has stepped in to save the day. We are extremely fortunate!  With more than thirty years’ experience as an organist and choir director in several British cathedrals, Timothy Noon is currently Director of Music at Exeter Cathedral. He combines his daily work with the Cathedral’s choirs with a busy and varied freelance schedule.  Whilst a teenager he was Organ Scholar at Christ Church, Oxford, and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, winning the coveted Limpus prize.

He is a frequent solo performer, and has performed concerts in many prestigious venues across Europe and Australasia. Timothy is also active as a composer and arranger and has been published by the RSCM, Encore, and, most recently, Novello.
