The London Brass Players

Come and see us at:

The Flavel

This is going to be fabulous!

The group consists of the typical brass quintet combination of two trumpets, french horn, trombone and tuba. They have performed with many symphony orchestras and celebrity musicians including Nocola Benedetti and Mylene Klass.

As well as performing as a quintet they have individually pursued musical projects in an eclectic range of styles, ranging from jazz, soul, funk and canto-pop to early music on authentic instruments.

Thoughts for the programme are: Jean-Joseph Mouret, arr Fred Mills, “Rondeau”

Tielman Susato, arr John Iveson, Six Renaissance Dances

J. S. Bach, arr Ronald Romm, “Little” Fugue in G minor

Joseph Horowitz, “Music Hall Suite”

Paul Nagle: Suite, “The Roaring Twenties”

Fats Waller, arr Lee Norris, “Ain’t Misbehavin”
