While we welcome all applications for any bands and musicians we are committed to giving a platform to original music and like to champion emerging artists.  If you have new music please submit links for that because we’d love to hear it.

Application

We do take time to give your application every consideration and, as much as we would like to book you all, we have to be selective. The following may help with your application.

Please be realistic with your fee. We are in South Devon, a long way from anywhere. We don’t pay travel or accommodation expenses so be aware of that when working out costs. We won’t dismiss your application out of hand if we have a reasonable idea of your price range but putting in a small fee only to change it later will make us grumpy.

We do not consider international acts unless they are already touring in the UK.

Backline is not provided at any venues and only two have a drum kit.

We do try to make it all about the music, so applications without links to music or better still live recordings are unlikely to be considered.

We have many applications and it’s impossible to reply to them all. Please be assured that we listen to everything sent to us. If you are unsuccessful on this occasion, please try again as there are many reasons why we may not be able to offer you a gig this year.   Thank you.

In which town/county are you based - we need to know this so we can assess how feasible it is to bring you down to Devon. We have had bands from all over the UK including Newcastle, Scotland, Wales, East Anglia and everywhere in between so don't worry, even if you are far flung it definitely won't rule you out.

Do you have public liability insurance?
All our artists must have PLI. We will need to see a copy of your certificate before the event and if not we can add you to ours for a small sum which will be deducted from the fee

Do you pay into PRS scheme?
For all bands that pay into the PRS scheme we need to pay a fee. This doesn't affect our booking choices at all but it is useful to know in advance as it helps with our administration jobs later!
