Chairman’s update

Welcome to the next installment of our subscriber newsletter, in the build up to the 23rd music festival, and as a quick reminder to you, this year’s dates are 15th 16th and 17th May 2020 which is now just 14 or so weeks away.

We recently sent out our “invitations to sponsor” for 2020 – many thanks to those of you who have already decided to sponsor us – we are most grateful for this continued sponsorship.

For those of you who may still be considering doing so, and in particular if you are a local business, please do give us a thought.

The ethos of the festival is very much to support the local community and to help it to prosper.

To that end we adopt a “TQ6” policy – this means that we do not allow any traders, bars, food trucks or retailers from outside that area to trade at the festival. Given that the festival is always run on a weekend that would otherwise be quiet in Dartmouth, we really hope that you will decide to renew or to commence your sponsorship journey with us and to help the festival to be viable.

If you would like further information then please do not hesitate to contact myself directly at,  or Sarah Squire our sponsorship manager on

We continue to book and finalise the lineup for the festival and I am genuinely excited by the breadth and depth of talent that we have secured for this year’s event. For those of you who have attended a number of them we are confident that this will continue to impress you as we endeavour to help the festival to grow in the right way.

For a taster of just some of the performances you can expect, take a look at our YouTube channel, or take a listen to this year’s Spotify playlist. The links are below

We are “succession planning” for the committee roles this year, and so if you might be interested, would like to take a look at what we do and how we do it, and “try before you buy”, please do contact me.

Many thanks indeed, as always, for your continued support, and I look forward to updating you further next month.
