Hard to believe that just a month ago we were all running around like headless chickens getting things in place for our nineteenth Dart Music Festival…
The dust is just about settling now, although there are still a few things to sort out and deal with so we can’t rest on our laurels just yet…
…however we have been getting some great feedback which has given us a little warm glow of satisfaction to know that all the months of planning and hard work were well and truly worth it.
If you’d like to send us your feedback we’d love to hear from you – just visit the contacts page on the website and let us know your thoughts. Thank you!

Here’s just a taste of what the people have been saying:
I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for having us play Dart Music Festival. We absolutely loved every second and it was such a fantastic space to perform in, the staff were delightful and the audience was one of our best ever! We really do hope to join you again next year to do it all again!
Hope you have managed to have a lovely rest after all the madness! What a great festival you all put on!
Kind Regards, Rosina. CIRCES DINER
Please send a massive thank you from Catfish to everyone involved in Dart Music Festival – we had a fantastic day on Sunday (just wish we could have been there the whole weekend – maybe next year!) and what a great audience. The room at the Guildhall was packed by the end and you could still hear a pin drop during the quiet guitar solos. A proper music loving crowd, and your committee people at the Guildhall were lovely, so friendly and helpful.
Would LOVE to come back next year if you can find them a slot…Oh, and we have just heard this evening that Matt our lead guitarist and vocalist has been nominated for a British Blues Award for Young Artist! Chuffed to bits for him.. Fiona. CATFISH
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for having us on Sunday. We had a really lovely day. We’ve not visited Dartmouth before, and I can safely say that Jay and I are both having notions of upping sticks and moving there after this weekend!!
Playing in the fort was a particular highlight. Just a really extraordinary place to play a concert! We had a really nice crowd down there too and people seemed to really enjoy it.
I also wanted to pass on my compliments to all of the guys running sound. Both concerts were excellent – and we really appreciate the effort they put in. Needless to say – we’d love to visit again in 2017 if you’re interested in having us! 🙂
All the best – and congrats again on a fantastic festival. Jon and Jay. NINEBARROW
Hi Hilary – Good to actually meet you on Saturday, hope you’re starting to recover from it all now…
We had a fantastic time, with two packed and great audiences at The Windjammer and The Guildhall, who both gave us a fantastic response.
The whole thing seemed to be a massive success, well done with all the organisation, and I hope you’re pleased with how it went. It was a great joy to play at.
And please thanks Ken Wood for us, for looking after and transporting all our gear between the gigs and for his help in general. And the couple who were running The Guildhall, who were extremely kind and helpful in every way.
More than happy to come back and do it again, Hilary. Now take it easy for a bit ……
All the best, Mark. MARK HARRISON TRIO
Just a quick note to say what a wonderful time we had at Dart Fest!
We thoroughly enjoyed our day and both venues were great great fun. We had some super feedback and our venue contact Ken Wood looked after us and made sure the PA’s were in good working order.
Thanks again and a very best restful few says wishes to you and the team of Dart Fest.
Kelvin and Kelly. THE PEAS
Dear Music Festival Committee
We want to thank you for yet another outstanding festival. We live in Salcombe but every year we sail round and moor up off the town for the full 3 days.
Every year you seem to top the previous year which is no mean feat as variety and quality of the programme is exceptional. We love the diversity but particularly enjoy the classical concerts in Saint Saviours. We went to every one this year and without exception they were all fabulous. It was amazing to see such large audiences all showing their appreciation with such enthusiasm. The icing on the cake was Cellophony – wow!
Please keep up the good work in finding new and often unusual acts every year as well as the old favourites.
Roll on next year – we can’t wait… With Best Wishes, Sue and Phil Pritchard
Thank you for this wonderful feedback – we’re just so glad you all had a good time!
